CREATIVE WORKSHOPS FOR ORGANISATIONS
spark creativity, support wellbeing and bring people together.
Give your team a chance to explore simple drawing techniques, find inspiration in the world around them and enjoy making art in their own way. My mindful art workshops are interactive, beginner-friendly and leave plenty of room for personal expression - no previous art experience needed.

“SKILLS WE CAN TAKE WITH US”
Mindful drawing was a unique way to get everyone together, settle our minds, and learn skills we can take with us.
It was amazing! The team seemed really engaged and leaned in.
I would absolutely recommend this workshop to other companies.

More than just an hour of creativity
My workshops offer a chance to step away from the pace of work and spend an hour doing something a little different.
Through mindful drawing, we'll slow down, notice the beauty in ordinary things and find inspiration in the world around us.
I'll guide participants through simple, interactive drawing activities, with plenty of room to experiment, make things their own and enjoy the process without worrying about getting it right.
No previous drawing experience is needed.
I'll also share ideas for continuing to draw and find inspiration after the workshop, so participants can take what they've learned into their everyday lives.
Workshops tailored to your event
Every event is different, so I'll work with you to shape a workshop that suits your audience and what you'd like to achieve.
We'll usually start with a short Zoom call, or chat by email if you prefer, to discuss your event, participant numbers, dates and any particular requirements.
We'll also cover the practical details, including how the session will be hosted and what participants will need, so everyone is ready to get involved.
I offer workshops online and in person, and we'll work together to find the best format for your event.
What's included?
I'll take care of the planning and preparation so you can feel confident that everything is in place ahead of your event.
Depending on your requirements, I can also provide:
Participant resources - a PDF or workbook to accompany the workshop, along with a materials list to share in advance.
Technical rehearsals - to check the setup ahead of an online session.
Replay licences - licensing options for sharing the recording with participants afterwards.
Course licences - access to my self-paced courses to offer as employee incentives, prizes or additional creative learning opportunities.

HI! I’M MEL!
I'm an artist and educator who helps busy people rediscover joy through simple, accessible creative practices that encourage mindfulness, curiosity and self-expression.
With over 20 years' teaching experience and more than 20,000 students worldwide, I'm passionate about making creativity feel welcoming and achievable, even for those who believe they "can't draw". Through mindful observation and simple drawing exercises, I help people slow down, notice the beauty in everyday moments and explore their creativity without worrying about perfection.
I create colourful, nature-inspired mixed media artwork from my studio in Nottingham, England.

“PROVIDES TANGIBLE SKILLS”
Mel's workshop perfectly fit the bill of what we were looking for. Our week focused on presence and we wanted to do something different than the standard wellbeing events and something more art focused, so mindful doodling was the perfect fit.
I would definitely recommend this workshop to other teams, organisations or events. It provides tangible skills that can be put into practice and also is unique in the content.

I design my workshops to be accessible, using materials most people are likely to have to hand, such as paper, pencils, pens and erasers.
I'll always work with you to make sure the materials suit your audience and the time we have available.
I'll also provide a materials list for you to share with your team well in advance, so everyone knows what they'll need before we get started.
-
Not at all! They don't need any drawing experience or prior knowledge of mindfulness.
I'm passionate about creating welcoming, accessible workshops where everyone feels comfortable having a go, exploring their creativity and finding their own way of making art - whatever their level of experience.
